The new MOPS420 is here!
In 2010 the US Military asked West Baumaschinen to produce a mobile plasma cutting system for their operations in Afghanistan. We produced the MOPS 390 and delivered 20 machines into the war zone. Over the past 2 years we have taken the feedback from our first machines and have produced a bigger, more powerful cutting system than ever: the MOPS 420! The first 2 models for 2012 just rolled off the assembly line and are on the way to Afghanistan for the US Army. These machines have been produced to survive the hardest environments and to archive the ultimate goal of cutting large pieces of metal into workable size scrap. In this case our machines cut objects such as tanks into small pieces for the military. The MOPS 420 has 3 working stations cutting at 200 Amps, and 2 stations cutting at 120 Amps. All stations are equipped with a 50 Foot (12 Meter) working torch that can be used at the same time. Our product is built and designed by us and us alone. This product is made for the military but now for the first time is being made available to the general public.

Our new partner ACA Construction will be a main point of contact for our valued customers in all of Afghanistan. ACA Construction is currently a sub-contractor for the US Government and its main office is located at Camp Bastion. ACA Construction can provide sales and service. We expect 2012 to be a good year for the SENNEBOGEN product in Afghanistan as the recycling industry in Afghanistan is beginning to grow rapidly.
